This animal has got a large presence mostly on island of Grand Cayman. Blue iguanas are also abundant in bushy gardens and farms. This pet animal has got some differences between the male and female especially in size of the body where the male is larger than female. The colors of the male and female also have got some difference where the male has dark colored skin when compared to the female one and hence Blue iguanas belong to the category of sexually dimorphism. This animal has got some distinctive characters viz thin explosion of urine, problematic osmoregulation and unique sexual activity. This species has been present at top list of endangered species and soon become vanish.
Lots of voluntary organizations are working a lot to check the availability of the species in massive manner. Governments have also been concentrating more on this species presence. Many awareness programs have been running on nowadays to create alertness among people in order to cope with the extinction problem. Nowadays, this animal has been present in small numbers in Zoo and museums. Hence, the present day generation can have a minimum look owing to the extinction problem. Not only Government but also the common person must come forward to address the issue.
